You are a little kitten, making your way through the forest on a journey to find the perfect spot to sleep. Hungry for a bedtime snack? Collect yummy apples along the way.
I made this short prototype game for school using Unreal Engine 5 and the PaperZD plugin.
Controls:
Move - Left Stick - WASD/Arrow Keys
Sprint - Right Trigger - Left Shift
Jump - Xbox A Button - PS X Button - W/Up Arrow/Spacebar
Interact - Xbox Y Button - PS Triangle Button - Q/Z
The yellow gems are Jump Points. Try jumping when you overlap them!

Dang that was some cute sprite work bub. The README had a little thing asking about feedback n what have you so I would say its a good wee platformer so far. I would suggest adding like a chomp noise when you get an apple and like a impact noise when you bounce on the jump points.
Ohh also my old pc is kinda jank so I blame the pc more than anything BUT the playstation controller buttons didn't respond. Only jump worked and the analogue stick but not interact.

Thanks for the awesome feedback! That's super helpful. I'm pretty new to UE5 but there have been various controller issues on almost all the projects I've worked on :( hopefully I'll be able to work out what's causing it.
